The EmPowered Schools Program provides teachers, administrators, and facilities staff with a wealth of information and resources to implement the program at your school. A typical EmPowered team consists of one team leader (typically a teacher) and students in a class, club, or other group. The program is designed to require minimal prep time for teachers and focuses on hands-on activities, video lessons, and a visually rich web platform.
We seek to make the EmPowered program simple and effective for teachers to implement. Each EmPowered team has a local project leader who will work with you and ensure that your team is making progress toward program completion. Some teachers make EmPowered a part of their curriculum, choosing a class period that will function as the EmPowered Team. Similarly, many schools create a student club to implement the program, utilizing lunch periods or time after school to hold meetings and pursue projects.
